Hi there and welcome! My name is Kristen Thompson and I’m the woman behind the lens here at Seed Imagery.
I have always had a passion for photography, readily filling up disposable film cameras at a very young age, and then when digital was the way of life, taking a camera with me to every social event I went to! This led to me starting to invest in self-learning as a late teen, and I began photographing as paid work - individuals, couples, and even weddings - in my early 20s.
I now particularly enjoy photographing families, individuals, couples and business/marketing.
I’m of the belief that there’s something very special about photography—this very relational, beautiful way of connecting.
Sometimes photography helps us connect with others when we see their tender moments of vulnerability captured, or the way they love someone so dearly. Sometimes it helps make physical distance feel so much smaller. And, sometimes, it even helps us connect with ourselves, and we begin the journey of learning to appreciate all of who we are.
However it is that you experience it, I’d love to be the one behind the camera capturing it for you.
